Epoxy.com Cold Temperature Cure Epoxy Resins allow
installation to be done at low temperatures as low as 35°F., expanding your epoxy coating and epoxy flooring installation
season. Epoxy.com Cold Temperature Cure Epoxy Resins can also be used in cold storage areas like food processing areas, where the temperature cannot be raised higher than 35° F or so.
Normal cured epoxy typically requires 50°F or more.
Epoxy.com Cold Temperature Cure Epoxy Resins can also be used as a super-fast setting Epoxy Mortar or Epoxy Coating at normal temperatures.
Epoxy.com Cold Temperature Cure Epoxy Resins used at normal temperature give you quick turn around time for small jobs, or larger jobs that require a short turn-around time.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface to receive Epoxy.com Low Temperature Cure Epoxy Primer, Low
temperature Epoxy Coatings or Low Temperature Epoxy Mortars must be clean and sound. Remove all dirt, laitance, grease curing
compounds and other foreign matter by sandblasting, or mechanical abrasion.
Remove water and dust from all surfaces with an oil free blast immediately prior
to application.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Temperature of Epoxy.com Low Temperature Cure Epoxy Primer, Low
temperature Epoxy Coatings and.or Low Temperature Epoxy Mortars resin
and hardener must be
50° F or above at time of mixing. Stir each component separately before
blending. Mix two parts by volume of Part A with one part by volume of Part B
for three minutes with a low speed electric drill motor equipped with a mixing
paddle.
LIMITATIONS
If an Epoxy.com Low Temperature Cure Epoxy Primer, Low
temperature Epoxy Coatings and/or Low Temperature Epoxy Mortars resin
and/or hardener temperature is only 50°F but less than 75° when it is mixed remember it is going to take a lot longer to setup.
Set up times of Epoxy.com Low Temperature Cure Epoxy Primer, Low
temperature Epoxy Coatings and Low Temperature Epoxy Mortars will be longer than the time listed on the data sheets
unless it is mixed at about 75°F. Low temperature cured epoxies set up much
faster when the substrate and air temperature is 40 degrees or higher.
When possible to to install low temperature cured epoxy at temperatures of
40 degrees or more, unless a long cure time is not a problem.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause eye and skin irritation. If contact
occurs, wash immediately and seek medical help. Use safety glasses with side
shields and wear protective rubber gloves.
APPLICATION
Varies with the specific material. Consult specific technical data sheet or contact Epoxy.com Technical Support at 321-206-1833 for more information.
New concrete should be at least 28 days old. Temperature of substrate
must be above 50° F. DO NOT thin.
CLEANING
All tools and equipment should be cleaned before the system gels. Use MEK,
Acetone, or any lacquer solvent.

coolers and food preparation areas that require constant low temperatures.
Product #1 Cold Temperature Cure Epoxy Coating is also frequently used in room
temperature applications to meet super-fast cure, limited shutdown needs.
