GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Epoxy.com Product #899 Cold Cure Epoxy Primer is a 100% solids
low-mod, low viscosity, low temperature curing Primer and Sealer. It may be used as a
Primer for any Epoxy.com Products, as a stand alone
sealer. It may also be combined with Epoxy.com Product
#78 to form a Low-Mod mortar. Epoxy.com Product #899
Cold Cure Epoxy Primer is 100% solids with "0" (zero)
VOC, which means it has virtually no order and will meet
even the strictest low VOC standards.
Epoxy.com Product #899 Cold Cure Epoxy Primer is specially formulated for cold temperature applications. Epoxy.com Product #899 Cold Cure Epoxy Primer is able to cure down to 35°F. Epoxy.com Product #899 Cold Cure Epoxy Primer
is often used in coolers and food preparation areas that need to be kept at a constant temperature. Epoxy.com Product #899 Cold Cure Epoxy Primer is frequently used at room temperature
applications where a super-fast curing system is required.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface to receive Epoxy.com Product #899
Cold Cure Epoxy Primer must be clean and sound. Remove all dirt,
laitance, grease curing compounds and other foreign
matter by sandblasting, mechanical abrasion, or acid
etching. Remove water and dust from all surfaces with an
oil-free blast immediately prior to application.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Temperature of Epoxy.com Product #899 Cold Cure
Epoxy Primer must be 50 degrees
F or above at time of mixing. Stir each component
separately before blending. Mix two parts by volume of
Part A with one part by volume of Part B for three
minutes with a low speed electric drill motor equipped
with a mixing paddle.
APPLICATION
Epoxy.com Product #899 Cold Cure Epoxy Primer can be applied with a brush,
roller or squeegee when used as a primer or seal coat.
For skid resistance, broadcast sand at a rate of 2 lbs.
per square yard. For mortar applications finish surface
with trowel. Prime surface to be patched with neat
material.
LIMITATIONS
Use of solvents for thinning will prevent proper cure of
Epoxy.com Product #899 Cold Cure Epoxy Primer .
New concrete must be 28 days old prior to application of
Epoxy.com Damp Primer. Temperature of substrate must be
above 40 degrees F.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause eye and skin
irritation. If contact occurs, wash immediately and seek
medical help. Use safety glasses with side shields and
wear protective rubber gloves.
CLEANUP
All tools and equipment should be cleaned before the
system gels. Use MEK, Acetone, or any lacquer solvent.
