100% Solids Low-Mod Low -Viscosity Epoxy Primer / Sealer / Mortar


GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Epoxy.com Damp Primer is a 100% solids Low-Mod Low Viscosity Primer and Sealer. It may be used as a Primer for any Epoxy.com products, as a stand alone sealer. It may also be combined with Epoxy.com Product #78 to form a Low-Mod mortar.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface must he clean and sound. Remove all dirt, laitance, grease curing compounds and other foreign matter by sandblasting, mechanical abrasion, or acid etching. Remove water and dust from all surfaces with an oil-free blast immediately prior to application.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

Temperature of Epoxy.com Damp Primer must be 50 degrees F or above at time of mixing. Stir each component separately before blending. Mix two parts by volume of Part A with one part by volume of Part B for three minutes with a low speed electric drill motor equipped with a mixing paddle.

APPLICATION

Epoxy.com  Damp Primer can be applied with a brush, roller or squeegee when used as a primer or seal coat. For skid resistance, broadcast sand at a rate of 2 lbs. per square yard. For mortar applications finish surface with trowel. Prime surface to be patched with neat material.

 

LIMITATIONS

Use of solvents for thinning will prevent proper cure. New concrete must he 28 days old prior to application of Epoxy.com Damp Primer. Temperature of substrate must be above 40° F.

 

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause eye and skin irritation. If contact occurs, wash immediately and seek medical help. Use safety glasses with side shields and wear protective rubber gloves.

 

CLEANUP

All tools and equipment should be cleaned before the system gels. Use MEK, Acetone, or any lacquer solvent.

Initial Cure 6 - 8 hours (with normal cure hardener)
Recoat (coating system) 10-12 hours (regular cure) :4-6 hours (fast cure)

Potlife 30-40 minute (with regular cure hardner)

If any product fails to meet this warranty, the liability of Epoxy.com will be limited to replacement of any non-conforming material if notice of such non-conformity is given to Epoxy.com  within the warranty period for the material (as indicated above), or within 1 year of the delivery of materials (whichever is sooner). Epoxy.com may in its discretion refund the price received by Epoxy.com in lieu of replacing the material. No customer, distributor, or representative of Epoxy.com is authorized to change or modify the published specifications of this warranty in any way. No one is authorized to make oral warranties on behalf of Epoxy.com. In order to obtain replacement or refund the customer must provide written notice containing full details of the non-conformity. Epoxy.com reserves the right to inspect the non-conforming material prior to replacement. Many of our products are made on an individual order basis.   Unless authorized in writing by Epoxy.com a division of Epoxy Systems, Inc. in writing before the material is made, there are no returns on items purchased from us, once the order has been processed, and the material made. In the event of authorized returns a restocking charge will be charged in the amount of 30% of the value of the material returned or $150 whichever is greater.  No returns on non-list priced items.  All Returns are for merchandise (store) credit only, no cash or credit card credits.  In the event of a return, buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping and handling in both directions.
