  • as a protective coating.

APPLICATION
Bonding Agent
- When Epoxy.com Product #7 is used as an adhesive, bonding new concrete to existing surfaces, coat the existing area (concrete, steel, aluminum, wood) at a rate of 100 square feet per gallon (9 m2) on smooth surfaces, 60 square feet on rough (6 m2). Apply topping while PRODUCT #7 is tacky; if dry, recoat.

Coating - When Epoxy.com Product #7 is used as a protective coating, apply the material at a rate of 200 square feet per gallon per coat (8 mils) (19 m2/3.79 L -or- 5 m2/L).

Epoxy Grout - When Epoxy.com Product #7 is used as an epoxy grout for machine-base grouting, add 2 parts by volume of PRODUCT #76 Epoxy Extender, or 1 part by volume of Epoxy.com PRODUCT #75 Filler to produce good flow.

PRODUCT #7 + PRODUCT #75 Filler = MORTAR
1 gal.   1 gal. (3.8 L)   350 cu. in. (5.74 L)
1 gal.   2 gals. (7.6 L)   475 cu. in. (7.78 L)
1 gal.   3 gals. (11.36 L)   600 cu. in. (9.83 L)

PRODUCT #7 + PRODUCT #76 Epoxy Extender = MORTAR
1 gal.   2 parts   500 cu. in. (8.19 L)
1 gal.   3 parts   750 cu. in. (12.3 L)

MIXING
Stir Component "B" thoroughly before combining with Component "A". Combine 1 part volume of Component "A" with 1 part by volume of Component "B" for not less than (3) three minutes, using a slow-speed drill motor (300 to 600 rpm) and Epoxy.com’ Mixing Paddle for a uniform gray mixture. Scrape sides and bottom. Avoid entrapping air in mixture. Apply immediately after mixing to properly prepared surface.

APPLICATION
Surface must be clean and sound. Remove rust, grease and curing compounds by best means available. Epoxy.com Product #7 All Purpose Epoxy Bonding Agent may be applied to dry or damp surfaces, but not in standing water. Apply by brush, roller or spray. Place fresh concrete while PRODUCT #7 is still tacky. If epoxy hardens simply apply another coat.
