Epoxy.com Product #6SC Long Pot Life Epoxy Adhesive Paste DESCRIPTION Epoxy.com Product #6SC is a 100% solids, two-component, moisture-insensitive, epoxy resin system containing no solvents. When mixed at a 2:1 ratio by volume, it produces a non-sagging material that is ideal for repairs on vertical or overhead surfaces. PRODUCT #6SC meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM - C881-87, Types I, II, and IV, Grade 3 Class "B" and "C" ADVANTAGES PRODUCT #6SC will bond to wet or dry surfaces. It may be feather-edged, and will not shrink. It has excellent resistance to gasoline, oil, sewage, and aggressive water. WHERE TO USE Patching vertical or overhead concrete surfaces. Setting bolts or dowels in a horizontal plane. Gap filling adhesive for non-mating structural surfaces. PRODUCT #6SC is readily dispensed into narrow slots and holes from cartridge dispensers. PHYSICAL PROPERTIES AFTER CURE
**PRODUCT #6SC, is tested against normal setting epoxy resins with 1/2 hour pot life at 70oF (21oC), should be tested at 7 days; if specimens are cured at 90oF (32oC), they can be tested at 3 days. APPLICATION Surfaces must be clean and sound. Remove rust, grease, and curing compounds by best means available. PRODUCT #6SC may be applied to dry, damp, or wet surfaces, but not in standing water. Apply at a rate of 100 sq. ft. (9.29 sq. meters) per gallon on smooth surfaces when bonding new concrete to old. Coverage will be less on rough surfaces. LIMITATIONS The temperature of the components of PRODUCT #6SC must be in excess of 60oF (16oC) when mixed to achieve proper cure. Application to surfaces with a temperature below 55oF (13oC) greatly prolongs cure. CAUTION: Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI) Classification and Warning for "A" Components: FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY! WARNING! May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Avoid inhalation of vapor. Use good ventilation, particularly if the material is heated or sprayed. Prevent all contact with skin and eyes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves, and/or barrier creams. If contact with skin occurs, wash immediately with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with water and contact with eyes, flush immediately with water and contact a physician. Manufacturing Chemists Association (MCA) Warning for "B" Components: CAUTION! DANGER! Causes severe burn. Contains alkaline amines; strong sensitizer. Do not get into eyes, on skin or clothing. Avoid breathing vapor. Keep container closed. Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling FIRST AID: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Call a physician. If any product fails to meet this warranty, the liability of Epoxy.com will be limited to replacement of any non-conforming material if notice of such non-conformity is given to Epoxy.com within the warranty period for the material (as indicated above), or within 1 year of the delivery of materials (whichever is sooner). Epoxy.com may in its discretion refund the price received by Epoxy.com in lieu of replacing the material. No customer, distributor, or representative of Epoxy.com is authorized to change or modify the published specifications of this warranty in any way. No one is authorized to make oral warranties on behalf of Epoxy.com. In order to obtain replacement or refund the customer must provide written notice containing full details of the non-conformity. Epoxy.com reserves the right to inspect the non-conforming material prior to replacement.
