SURFACE PREPARATIONSteel Surfaces: Steel surfaces should be dry grit or abrasive blasted to commercial gray metal finish as specified by the Steel Structures Painting Council SP-6. All work blasted shall be coated the same day with Epoxy.com Product #1200 Zinc Rich Primer. For immersion service, blast to near white blast SSPC SP-10. Concrete Surfaces: Concrete surfaces shall be cleaned to remove dirt, curing compounds, existing coatings or laitance to provide a clean, sound bonding surface. See Epoxy.com Surface Preparation Procedures for more information MIXINGStir Components A and B thoroughly before mixing. Combine one part by volume of A with one part by volume of B (mixing ratio 1:1). Mix for not less than three minutes, using a slow speed drill, (300 to 600 rpm) and an Epoxy.com-Mixing Paddle. APPLICATIONEpoxy.com Product #255 High Build Coating may be applied by brush, roller or spray. All spray equipment must employ traps to prevent water and oil from contaminating coating. Under adverse weather conditions thinning maybe desired. First, mix PRODUCT #255 and then add approximately 5% PRODUCT #255 Thinner by volume. COVERAGE:Epoxy.com PRODUCT #255 will cover approximately 200 sq. ft. per gal. (18.6 m² per gal.) at a thickness of eight (8) mils, dependent upon surface texture. For best results, use two (2) coats. PACKAGING:PRODUCT #255 is packaged in two (2) gallon and ten (10) gallon units. CAUTION:"A" Component contains epoxy resin. DANGER! "B" Component contains alkaline amines; strong sensitizer. May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Use with good ventilation, particularly if material is heated or sprayed. Prevent all contact with skin or eyes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and/or barrier creams. Keep container closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly after handling. FIRST AID: In case of skin contact, immediately wash with soap and water. in case of eye contact, flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least fifteen (15) minutes.
