DESCRIPTION

Epoxy.com Product #250 All Purpose 100% Solids Zero (0) VOC Epoxy Coating is a 100% solids, moisture- insensitive epoxy coating, containing no solvents. It is ideal for non-potable water tanks, ponds, etc. Epoxy.com Product #250 All Purpose 100% Solids Zero (0) VOC Epoxy Coating, mixed at a 2:1 ratio, produces a tough, chemical and abrasion-resistant coating for dry or damp concrete, wood or steel surfaces.

ADVANTAGES

Can be applied to concrete, wood or steel

SURFACE PREPARATION

Steel Surfaces: Steel surfaces to receive Epoxy.com Product #250 All Purpose 100% Solids Zero (0) VOC Epoxy Coating should be abrasion blasted to commercial gray metal finish as specified by the Steel Structures Painting Council SSPC SP-6. All work blasted shall be coated the same day with Epoxy.com Product #1200 Zinc Rich Primer.

Concrete Surfaces: Concrete surfaces to receive Epoxy.com Product #250 All Purpose 100% Solids Zero (0) VOC Epoxy Coating shall be cleaned to remove dirt, curing compounds, existing coatings or laitance to provide a clean, sound bonding surface. Cleaning may be accomplished with water blasting, abrasion blasting, or other method that would achieve a similar result.

MIXING

Stir Components "A" and "B" thoroughly before mixing. Combine two (2) parts by volume of "A" with one (1) part by volume of "B" (mixing ratio 2:1). Mix for not less than three (3) minutes with a slow speed drill (300 to 600 rpm), and an Epoxy.com Mixing Paddle.

APPLICATION

tEpoxy.com Product #250 All Purpose 100% Solids Zero (0) VOC Epoxy Coating may be applied by brush, roller or spray. All spray equipment must employ traps to prevent water and oil from contaminating coating.

COVERAGE:

Epoxy.com Product #250 All Purpose 100% Solids Zero (0) VOC Epoxy Coating will cover approximately 200 sq. ft. per gal. per coat at a thickness of eight (8) mils, dependent upon surface texture. For best results, use two (2) coats.

PACKAGING:

Epoxy.com Product #250 All Purpose 100% Solids Zero (0) VOC Epoxy Coating is packaged in three (3) gallon, and fifteen (15) gallon units.

LIMITATIONS:

PRODUCT #250 should not be applied when surface temperatures are below 40°F.

CAUTION:

WARNING! A Component contains epoxy resin. DANGER! "B" Component contains alkaline amines; strong sensitizer. May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Use with good ventilation, particularly if material is heated or sprayed. Prevent all contact with skin or eyes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and/or barrier creams. Keep container closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly after handling.

FIRST AID:

In case of skin contact, immediately wash with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least fifteen (15) minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Wash clothing before reuse.
